Data stored locally on your device
Wortly stores the following data on your device only:
Monthly financial snapshots (assets, liabilities, cash flow entries) — stored in SwiftData (on-device) for core app functionality.
Financial goals and settings — stored in SwiftData and UserDefaults for app preferences.
Exchange rates — fetched from public APIs and cached in SwiftData on-device for currency conversion.

We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information.
We do not collect bank account numbers or credentials.
We do not collect device identifiers or advertising identifiers (IDFA).

2. iCloud Sync (Premium)
If you enable iCloud sync (available with Wortly Premium), your financial data is synced via your personal iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit framework. This data:

You can disable iCloud sync at any time in Settings.
3. Exchange Rate Data
Wortly fetches publicly available exchange rate data from the following services:
Frankfurter (frankfurter.app) — fiat currency rates sourced from the European Central Bank. Free, no API key required.
CoinGecko (coingecko.com) — cryptocurrency prices.
These requests contain no personal data — only a currency code (e.g. CZK) or coin identifier (e.g. bitcoin). No user identifiers are sent. These services maintain their own privacy policies.

Subscriptions are processed by Apple via StoreKit 2. Wortly does not collect or store any payment information. All billing is handled entirely by Apple and governed by Apple’s Terms of Service (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes).
5. Widgets
Home screen and lock screen widgets (Wortly Premium) display your net worth data read from your device’s App Group container. No widget data leaves your device.
